Bat toys....

Winter is over and the Bat toy are finished.

The Moth's Junk Yard Challenge foils are fast but difficult to sail.  So I am back on the learning curve with speed available if I get the settings right and do not crash.  In one week we have the AUT Euro Cup so after a fantastic training session last weekend I have a great weekend of racing to look forward to.  This project gets 9 out of 10 for value for money and 10 out of 10 for turning my gibes into a wobbly mess.

The Batmobile is also done and it has had a road test. Getting it in and out of the cave without scratching is nearly impossible.  The metal trike frame is much more flexible than the carbon shell which means the back wheel needs a bit more support and there are other details to play with.  It is really fun and fast although it does attract a bit too much attention.  It gets 2 out of 10 for practicality and 9 out of 10 for long distance cruising speed.  It needs a lot of work on practical details but it is fun and does make people smile.

Here is the last Bat Cave update of the build.
